The IoA 2026 Winter School was held at Slough Centre Aikido Club's dojo in Farnham Royal on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February under the directiion of Sensei William Timms, Principal of the Institute. Some 30 plus Aikidoka from IoA Clubs in Ireland, Scotland and England were joined by guests from other associations for two days of training. Various sensei gave 45 minute sessions throughout the two days. 

There was a very enjoyable evening meal on the Saturday at a Turkish restaurant.

On the final day Sensei Timms promoted some senior grade members as follows:

      To Fifth Dan: Ali Khan and Ken Kidston

      To Sixth Dan: Paul Foster-Dent, John Kingsbury, Linn Robertson and Colin Simpson
