Summer School 2026 was held at Oatridge College near Edinburgh from Saturday 1 August to Saturday 8 August. 15 Aikidoka from clubs all over the country took part. One Dan Grading was held and congratulations go to Angela Cooke who gained 2nd Dan.

The Annual General Meeting of the IoA was held on Friday 7 August at which Ray Eder, of  Kyu Shin Do, New Zealand, was voted 7th Dan by those members present. Gail Eder was awarded 6th Dan by Sensei William Timms.
